Academic Shoot reflection and critique

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos following the rules I set out for you?
Not bothering or embarrassing the students. They would look at me and hide their faces, especially the ones in the perfect spot.

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly.
Framing for sure. When I tried to take a photo with 2 seniors, the framing wasn't right and I kept getting too much in the background. So I grabbed a chair and stood on it to get only the subjects.

3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photography?
I would be less nervous walking around the room. I would still be cautious to not be in the way, but I would not be afraid to snapped photos.

4. What things would you do the same?
Standing up on objects. I am very small so getting a good angle sucks for me.

5. When you go out with your next set of prompts, which rule do you think will be the easiest to achieve?
Rule of thirds.

6. Which rule do you think will be the hardest to capture?
Simplicity (the school is usually full of distractions via the background).

7. What rule are you still not totally clear on and what can you do to figure out what that rule is?
Balance I am not 100% sure on how to get, but I can look at examples that have it tp understand.
