Julia Margaret Cameron was born on June 11, 1815 and died January 26, 1879. She was born in Calcutta, India, was taught in France, and moved back to India. She married and had 5 children and adopted one. Cameron started photography when she was 48, receiving the camera as a gift. She has many exhibitions dedicated to her.
