The Terror of War

1. Why did you choose this image? What caught your eye?

The pure pain and fear on the children breaks my heart and it makes me think what it must have been like... Scary, horrifying, devastating... 

2. Summarize what you read.

A little girl was running from a city after it was dropped with napalm and she was screaming and crying. The photographer took a photo and posted it onto the New York Times- the Americans soon leaving its involvement with the Vietnam War.

3. The girl in the photo had third degree burns that covered 30% of her body. She had to be sent to an American hospital and barely survived.
