V-J Day in Times Square

1. I really loved the contrast of clothing- The man wearing black and the woman wearing white. The passion in the photo is also just perfect.
2. The photographer- being one of the first 4 hired in TIMES magazine, searched for something to document. The end of World War 2 quickly arrived and people celebrated in the streets- a man in a sailer suit swooping a nurse into a joyful kiss.
3. The man in the sailer uniform was going around- grabbing every girl in sight and kissing them. The photographer wasn't satisfied with any other photo until he eventually made his way- snatching up the nurse and kissing her.
