Magazines Part 2

An image based cover is when a person/people are in the shot- like a face shot- and it shows them doing something like smiling or it's a profile shot. It's used for mostly celebrity magazines. An illustration based cover is a drawn or computer generated cover is when the pictures are drawn and it's usually used for comedy sake. A typed based cover is when the cover is used in words instead of pictures. A concept based magazine mixes all of the top together and is also usually used for comedy sake.

The relationship between words and photos on magazine covers is that pictures seem to capture you much more and interest you while words are quick to the point and are blunt in it's explaining.
