Best/Biggest things of 2018

1. I think Humility by Gorillaz (in the album The NOW NOW) was one of the greatest songs of 2018. I personally think the song is about trying to get up from depression due to the lyrics and the theme. I know that many people and things deal with depression due to how shitty the year was so it was nice to have an animated character rolling around explaining how he'll kick depression's butt while Jack Black plays a guitar behind him.

2. I think the best movie of 2018 was Incredibles 2 due to the HUGE build up it had. 14 years we waited for this movie and I was not disappointed. The animation has greatly improved with the detail, shading, and the amazing bright colors. I love how they put light on new superhero wanna-be's and I adore how they showed us Jack-Jack's powers in a greater spectra.

3. I think the most important news story of 2018 was any about the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. It caused a series of school shootings around the Nation and several deaths and a test to our government about gun laws. And now no one knows what to choose for the gun law now. It is an awful tragedy that is still happening.

4. I think the most important people of 2018 were March For Our Lives Activists. They were so brave to face the public and ride for their rights to have gun laws. I was even in one- and it was sad because the people there were talking smack to the people speaking. I thank every single person in 2018 who stood for what was right and tried to get gun laws.

5. I think the most important Cartoon/TV show of 2018 was Steven Universe. It dove into some serious topics this year like abusive relationships, normalization of the LGBTQ+ community, not holding in your feelings, trauma, ect. I have watched this show for years and it always had a message and a lesson for me and I hope that kids can watch this and learn something as wel.
