Student of the Month

Jackson Hirsch is now student of the month and gives us an inside of what it's like by explaining how and why he achieved his title, on March 4th, before school, in the cafeteria.

"I got student of the month cause I paid the principal two-hundred dollars," student of the month Jackson Hirsch said.

His teachers all claim that he does get good grades, but can occasionally get off task in the classroom.

"He thinks he can break or do anything because of his money," German teacher Johaan Kraus said, "I have to get new desks every week because of it! But, yes, he is excellent in German and I know that he is up to outstanding things in his future if he wasn't so careless!"

Hirsch explains why they see him in his favor due to this new title.

"Yeah, I just pay them twenty dollars," Hirsch said.

He says that he rarely gets teased, but it does happen.

"Yeah I do get teased about it but then i show them my Lamborghini and yeah."

His teachers never see any of the bullying but know that there would need to be no concern.

"He can clearly calculate himself any situation he can see himself in and fix it," Algebra teacher Daisy Brown said, "he is a smart boy and I know that he will get help if necessary! He loves being student of the month so I know he won't be pushed down by some light teasing. Kids will be kids."

Hirsch did do extra work and activities to get the title.

"I go to a club every night," Hirsch said, "I am a hard working student that will do anything to get what I need to get."

He explains his family situation, giving us further insight about his personal life.

"My dad currently is living in Mexico," Hirsch said, "My dad's credit card helps me the most."
